Research on Structure and Growth of Technology Business Incubator Competitiveness: A Knowledge Perspective

Technology business incubator is a kind of knowledge-intensive service organizations and its core function is to provide knowledge service mainly about entrepreneurial knowledge for incubatees. Firstly, this paper gives the definition and connotation of competitiveness of business incubators from the view of knowledge. Then, from the perspective of knowledge flows, knowledge stores and knowledge operational capacity, studies the composition of competitiveness of incubators. Based on this static structure, the paper develops a dynamic growth model of incubators, and analysis the growing process from the perspective of endogenous growth and exogenous growth, and an incubator in ShangHai is researched as an example. Finally, we identify that competitiveness plays an important role in the development of incubator and needs attention.
