Abstract
According to mass storage management in the context of flash memory, wear-leveling technology has been a popular research of great significance for mass data on flash memory medium impact the stability of flash memory. This paper first presents hardware characteristics of flash memory and algorithms related to wear leveling, and then analyzes the merits and demerits of dual pool algorithm upon which improvements are made. The experiments show consuming more memory will make flash memory greatly improve the effectiveness of Garbage collection.
