Abstract
It is well known the difficulty of predicting theoretically the radiation properties of a corrugated conical horn with very wide flare angle (2¿ ¿ 180°). So a detailed experimental analysis on these antenna feeders has been carried out as function of the geometrical parameters and of the frequency. The results are summarized in graphics and analytical expressions in order to predict the radiative properties and to obtain easy design methods. A logical prosecution of the formerly obtained relations for concave corrugated structures has been derived and then the characterization of the whole family of the corrugated conical horns has been accomplished.
