Abstract
A new measuring principle of screening effectiveness of coaxial connectors allows swept measurements in Z0 matched systems. The frequency range for the triaxial arrangement is 10 MHz to several GHz, depending only on the connector size. With the waveguide setup screening effectiveness swept measurements up to 18 GHz are possible. The combination tracking Generator - Spectrum Analyzer - Low noise amplifier - power amplifier allows a high dynamic range and broadband frequency coverage.
