  • Abstract
    The major industrial accidents have occurred from time to time, which has a serious threat to people´s property and lives. This paper builds a major hazard management system based on 3DGIS, does some research about the system structure and the key technology, and analyzes and designs the main system´s functions and database. The system displays and manages a variety of basic information and data of the major hazard by the three-dimensional visual method, simulates the consequences of the accidents, and assesses the disaster. The system provides a strong technical support for the safety control, accident prevention, and accident investigation of the major hazard.
