  • Abstract
    This paper reviews some of the planned 20/30 GHz Satellite Communication Systems. Recent achievements are presented and correlated to System Designer´s requirements, highlighting critical areas needing effort for near term applications. Some speculative thoughts on second generation Payload Architectures are given, in view of expected technology developments in some years from now.
