Abstract
A novel low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) dual-passband filter is proposed in this paper. This dual-passband filter comprises one transmission line and two shunt- connected stepped impedance resonators. Therefore, a transmission zero, which will increase isolation, can be easily generated in the middle of two passbands. Theoretical analysis and design procedures are also described in this paper. Moreover, measured results of the fabricated filter match well with the outcome of electromagnetic simulation, indicating the feasibility of the proposed configuration.
