  • Abstract
    Fully integrated photonic receivers with semiconductor preamplifiers and photodiodes in a single package are demonstrated through laser-induced quantum well intermixing technology. The 1550-nm photonic integrated receivers show a sensitivity of -22.8 dBm at 20 Gb/s.
