Abstract
For the purpose of exposure assessment in epidemiological studies on RF exposure and brain cancer risk , 76 Japanese mobile phones were classified, for different use conditions, into small numbers of categories, using SAR characteristics cluster analysis. The categorization was shown consistent with the characteristics of phones obtained from technical specifications and external views. Typical 3D SAR distributions were estimated in a realistic numerical model for each use condition and each phones category.
