Abstract
Experimental results are presented for the radiation patterns of a 19-beam, active, trasmit/receive Multibeam Array Model (MAM), obtained on a recently developed Cylindrical Near-Field (NF) Range at BAe, Stevenage. The hardware and software used in the NF Range are outlined. A brief description is given of the content and operation of the MAM antenna. In addition to radiaton patterns, measurements have also been made of the G/T parameter of the MAM in the anechoic chamber and of the EIRP of some beams by the NF method. The agreement between the predicted and experimental results is good.
