Abstract
Algorithms for netlist and layout generation of Booth-Wallace multipliers are presented. The generator, written in LISP with object oriented programming facilities, generates a data structure representing a bitwise optimized netlist, and offers several examination functions to materialize it (display drawing, estimators, netlist, and layout files). The power of the programming language occurs for netlist simplification and managing the complex wiring problem due to Wallace tree. The result is a compact, rectangular shaped, completely embedded in a data path (including Booth coders) multiplier matrix
