Abstract
A widespread shortage of free frequency bands creates opportunities for intelligent cognitive systems. This type of radio system is able to change its system parameters, e.g. radiation power and frequency according to the current time and location. The presented system describes the possibility of how to shape an Ultra Wideband (UWB) pulse using a typical frequency mixer. Using multiple shaping frequencies and a standard Gaussian pulse shape is possible accomplish the requirements of the frequency spectrum.
