Abstract
Using both logical and rhetorical techniques, as well as page layout, a technical writer-editor can communicate an idea to an array of audiences without sacrificing the integrity of the science. As government and industrial budgets continue to decrease, marketing documents will play an increasingly important role in obtaining funding. Audiences will have to be convinced that only one proposal out of many is worth funding
