Abstract
This paper describes on-orbit large space structure (LSS) modal identification results. The flight experiment was performed by using Engineering Test Satellite-VI (ETS-VI), which is a three-axis stabilized two ton-class geostationary satellite, launched in August 1994 by H-II Rocket. For the modal identification, the spacecraft was excited by a set of 1 [N] thrusters, then the attitude angle, rate and vibration acceleration data were obtained. By applying the eigensystem realization algorithm to the impulse response time series data, we have identified the spacecraft modal parameters successfully
