  • Abstract
The paper details the accuracy improvements in both instrumentation and calibration of power sensor errors. New measurement methods for determintation of calibration factor will be described which gives improvement in uncertainty over current methods. New instrumentation giving better accuracy and high stability with temperature will be discussed. The use of microprocessor control and numerical correction of sensor inaccuracies now make possible more accurate Power measuring instruments. Existing Power meters are slow and suffer from errors such as linearity. The microprocessor correction described greatly reduces these errors and allows many different types of sensors to be used including millimetric sensors.
