Abstract
By means of equivalent circuit of three-phase asynchronous machines the mathematical model for dynamic braking is derived, and the computer simulation program is carried out. The simulated and measured results are in good agreement. The influences of capacitance, resistance and inertia constant on the braking process are discussed, and a method of selecting capacitor and resistance elements is given.
