  • Abstract
Project management practitioner program has been conceptualized as an empowerment initiative, to build greater competence among project management community by adopting organizational processes, quantitative tools, and thereby to bring value to customers using the expertise thus built. Industry trends indicate that project overruns occur broadly due to improper or inadequate estimation techniques, non adoption of quantitative tools and techniques, and inability to foresee risks and deal with them. Also an organizational mastery of project management can contribute largely towards sustainable excellence in project management. This program focuses on a unique case study based approach to impart e-learning training sessions on crucial project management areas like estimation, quantitative project management & risk management, familiarization with organizational tools, rigorous coaching, mentoring & assessment phases and thereby equipping participants with skills necessary to enhance the predictability and productivity within projects. This program is supplementary to PMP certification from PMIcopy.
