  • Abstract
Taking the raw water of Yangtze Chenghang Reservoir as the research object, the organics removal efficiency and controlling effect of DBPs by potassium permanganate preoxidation were investigated. The results showed that the concentration of CODMn was 1.1~1.5mg/L in sedimentation effluent; when potassium permanganate dosage was 1.0mg/L, the average removal rate of UV254 can reach 40%, average UV254 was 0.028cm-1; potassium permanganate pre-oxidation can effectively control the formation of THMs; HAAs formation potential was lower under the condition of potassium permanganate dosage below 0.75mg/L, but the haloacetic acids formation potential increased as increasing the dosage of potassium permanganate.
