Abstract
Both robot audition and vision mark the intelligence level of intelligent robot systems. Robot vision has been well valued and many researches on it have been done, however, research on robot audition is not that much. Speech interaction is the most accessible means within human computer intelligent interface techniques, which is natural, convenient and of great importance. On the basis of authors´ long-term researches on speech recognition technique, intelligent-robot-oriented speech interactive techniques are systematically studied towards features and requirements of intelligent robot, which include speech interaction, recognition of children´s speech, dialogue management and embedded system implementation; the standardized self-developed and intelligent-robot-oriented DSP speech interactive module of low consumption and high performance is also introduced.
