Abstract
Covering the five waveguide bands Crom 26.5-110 GHz, magnetically tuned preselectors based on barium-hexaferrite resonator material eliminate the numerous unwanted image and multiple harmonic mixer responses hampering present unpreselected millimeter-wave range spectrum analyzers. These preselectors provide the first commercial application of barium-hexaferrite technology and represent a fundamental improvement to the measurement art.
