Abstract
The paper contains description of the method for shaping the UWB pulse spectrum. The generation technique is based on a quadrature up-conversion. Levels of spectrum components are controlled by introducing time delay between modulating impulses. The paper contains derivation of formulas describing pulse RF spectrum and results of performed simulations. The proposed method was experimentally verified. The paper includes description of the test setup and results of performed measurements.
