  • Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The Langmuir probe (LP) is one of the major tools used in plasma diagnostics because of its good measurement capability and simple structure. The various parameters of plasma, such as ion, electron saturation current, plasma potential, temperature and floating potential can be obtained from LP data. However, analyzing plasma parameters from LP data, the noise and its non-stationary state of signal would prevent from obtaining the plasma parameters with accuracy. These problems often take place and make us spend a lot of time to analyze the LP data. To overcome these problems, the analysis algorithm using wavelet transforms, which are currently studied and recognized as good tools of signal processing was developed.
