  • Abstract
    This article outlines a procedure of how to develop active multimodal presentations (AMP) using simple software technology tools. It points out the significance of using gestures (particularly pointers) in creating and coordinating AMP content. It summarizes techniques used by teachers to enhance learning and comprehension by integrating speech, imagery and pointing gestures into a coherent multimodal learning environment. Finally, it outlines the objectives of this workshop.
