Abstract
The novel principle of power maximizing of solar battery (MPPT) is proposed. The proposed system based on use of two low-power sample solar panels with the special controlled current source. These sample solar panels are located in close proximity to the main battery, and thus their electrical characteristics identical to those of the main one. The first sample panel provides information about the short-circuit current and the second panel is periodically loaded from no load to short-circuit mode. As a result the reference signal for the output current of the main panel is formed. This current ensures maximum power of the main battery under the existing environmental conditions. The proposed system can be implemented using a simple scheme contained conventional electronic components. The results of computer modeling confirm the theoretical conclusions.
