Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of simultaneous removal of fine particles and VOCs using a combined system of photocatalyst-coated nonwoven fabric filter and discharge plasma. In this study, the NaCl aerosol was selected as a test aerosol, and generated by nebulizing 10%-20% aqueous NaCl solutions using air bubbling system. Acetaldehyde (CH/sub 3/CHO) vapor was selected as a VOC. The test results indicate that TiO/sub 2/ catalyst coated on the surface of nonwoven fabric combined with discharge plasma has a potential for treating pollutants in the atmospheric environment.
