  • Abstract
    This paper puts forward the architecture of virtual assembly process system based on the ideas of advanced manufacturing technology, and analyses the characteristics and key techniques to be implemented among the system module. Taking use of the development kits, we have carried out the system functions. An applied case is presented by taking horizontal stabilizer of branch aircraft as an example to illustrate the process of virtual assembly, this concludes that the virtual assembly process system is accurate and the 3D process document effect has been validated.
