  • Abstract
    Because of small reliability data size and fuzzy reliability data, Wire-Electronic Discharging Machine (WEDM) reliability can not be predicted by traditional reliability prediction method. So, a reliability prediction method which based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed in this paper. The reliability model of WEDM was set up and the correlation matrix between every sub-system was also determined. The rules of every sub-system weight factor´s determination were determined. Based on these works, the formula of WEDM reliability prediction was achieved. The reliability of every sub-system which based on expert advices was fuzzy processed, the correlation matrix and the weight factors of every sub-system were determined, and then this example was calculated. It is shown by the result of this example that this method can fuzzy predict WEDM reliability. This method has the good reference value to the prediction work of WEDM.
