Abstract
To efficiently tackle materialized view selection problem in designing data warehouse, an efficient view selection algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed in this paper. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves much better performance than heuristic algorithm and genetic algorithm.
