  • Abstract
Introduces a newly-developed intelligent CASE tool, called MISG/CASE (Management Information Systems Generator using Computer-Aided Software Engineering), for the generation of MIS software. For MISG, we have defined two descriptive languages: one is FDL (Function Description Language), for requirements description, and the other is QSL (Query and Statistics Language), for query demand description. The MIS Generator, based on the two languages, is integratively composed of requirements analysis tools, data analysis tools and code generation tools. The system has now been applied in practice.<>
