Abstract
The advantages of using microstrip patch antennas as on-board antennas are experimentally demonstrated by modeling analogues of a dipole antenna and a pin antenna for dual-frequency on-board transmitter “Mayak 150/400”. The application of microstrip patch antennas also solves one of the topical problems of antenna technology; it makes possible the creation of small-size design, low-profile on-board spacecraft antennas.
