Abstract
In order to study the changes of visual attention against the stimuli based on the fractal dimensions of the stimulus, this research focuses on the difference of the searching reaction time resulted from the manipulation of the fractal dimensions of the stimulus in visual search assignments. In this study we have carried out two experiments. Experiment 1 was conducted with an aim at validating whether the target searching reaction time changes or not, by manipulating the difference of the fractal dimensions of the target and the distracter in the visual search assignment. Experiment 2 was performed to observe whether the results of experiment 1 were influenced by the stimuli fractal dimensions or the object. As the results of these experiments, we suggest that it is possible to manipulate the visual attention by manipulating the fractal dimensions.
