Abstract
Discusses a detection method for a straight metal tube buried within snow by snow search radar. The snow search radar is a three-dimensional imaging radar system intended for searching for objects buried to a depth of a few meters. The resolution in the distance direction of the snow search radar is decided by the sweeping range of the microwave. However, the authors can detect a change of distance less than the resolution if the target object has a fixed slope. The authors selected the straight metal tube as a target object. Then the reconstructed image of a metal tube is described by a few parameters with accuracy. The results are given for processing of simulated and actual data
