Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the problem of simultaneous and integrated voice and data transmission in a wireless multi-access channel. We derive the throughput-optimal power and rate allocation functions for the data users, while not violating any of the service guarantees for the voice users or the expected power constraints for the voice and data users.
