Abstract
WCDMA is an air interface found in 3G. It is most commonly used member of the UMTS family. It utilizes the DSSS channel access method and the time division duplexing method to achieve higher speeds and support more users compared to most TDMA schemes used today. And namely therefore WCDMA network planning is so important nowadays.
