  • Abstract
    Tuning dynamics of a >; 70 nm continuously tunable MEMS-VCSEL with a hybrid curved mirror is reported. The two-chip VCSEL assembly is mounted and bonded in a TO8 package with Peltier cooling. The tuning range of the MEMS-VCSEL is 73nm with high side mode suppression ratio SMSR >; 40 dB over the whole tuning range.
