  • Abstract
The electromagnetic transient model of SCSR which can suppress over-voltages of extra/ultra high voltage transmission line flexibly in project operation is established and used in the paper, the effects research of SCSR inner fault to power grid stability and security has conducted in use of electromechanical and electromagnetic hybrid real-time simulation, the inner stepped fault and corresponding control strategy of SCSR operation in power system were calculated input of the northwest grid field operation parameters, the effects to stability and security were analyzed and concluded as well in the paper. The research results open a new way to the voltage control strategy and stability analysis of ultra high voltage transmission line.
