  • Abstract
Classical formulations for the near-field (NF) to far-field (FF) transformation are based on the modal expansion method [Petre and Sarkar 1992]. A new formulation based on equivalent magnetic current has been suggested [Petre and Sarkar 1994, and Paris et al. 1978]. the present authors evaluate the improvement of the method based on the quality of the synthesized plane wave.
