  • Abstract
    Rapid prototyping aims to provide rapid design, validation and testing methods for physical prototypes. The paper designed rapid prototyping simulation system based on RTX real-time kernel and VPM (Virtual Prototyping and Modeling) development tools, and discussed the system´s operation environment, system architecture, system components and major functions. Through combination of VPM modeling and simulation software and RTX real-time kernel, the system is able to implement hardware in loop simulation flexibly. Furthermore, algorithms designing, evaluating and its performance testing with physical devices in loop can be achieved.
