Abstract
The Internet success has opened the door to new forms of doing ordinary stuff. The e-commerce is a clear example that shows how the electronic consumers are becoming more popular. However, this new form of purchasing and selling has created more demanding markets. According to this trend, the product trace processes like a way of tracking the product development from the beginning until the end of the commercialization chain, are becoming in a real added value for consumer and a key requirement for modern commerce. This article introduces an architecture to perform trace processes using mobile devices, which is validated throughout a service developed for craft Latin American communities inside the LINK-ALL (local communities insertion network) project context
