Abstract
A novel printed antenna is presented for ultrawideband applications. The configurations are etched onto a piece of printed circuit board with the size of 37 mm times 35 mm times 0.5 mm. The performances of the antenna are investigated numerically and experimentally. Parametric studies have also been carried out for the antenna. The results demonstrate that this wide slot antenna is suitable for ultra-wideband applications.
