Abstract
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) often lies on the critical path of the product creation process. By specifying and checking the EMC performance of electronic modules and key components during the early stages of development, it is possible to minimize any risk of the complete product not complying with the legal and operational requirements in the end. In this paper EMC specifications and test procedures for modules are defined on the basis of simple tests with current and field probes.
