  • Abstract
Because of the uncertainty of changes in light intensity, photovoltaic (PV) array temperature, Load changes and Strongly nonlinear of PV cells, the maximum power point of the PV array always changes as the environment and load change. The fuzzy control can respond quickly to changes in the external environment, to make sure the PV system is always working at the maximum power point. But, because of the feature of fuzzy Control and self-optimize, the system has more serious oscillation near the maximum power point. Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control can eliminate the oscillation effectively and easily. Therefore, a method based on fuzzy parameters selftuning PID controller has been proposed to achieve the PV system control of MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking).
