Abstract
In this paper we demonstrate real-time in-fiber particle velocimetry using a simple heterodyne technique. A 6 μm-diameter borosilicate glass particle is optically guided in a D2O-filled HC-PCF with a 19 μm core diameter, using a continuous wave laser (wavelength 810 nm).
