Abstract
This paper discusses the human-computer interaction design of the software based on barrier-free principle. By analyzing the behavior characteristics and the actual requirements, when operating software, of disadvantaged groups, such as the color-blind, the left-handed and the elderly, the project investigates the physiological peculiarities of vulnerable groups and emphasizes the principle of ¿people foremost¿ in the whole process of human-computer-interaction design. Moreover, the design philosophy, solutions and primary idiographic operating methods in creating different operation interfaces are also brought forward to meet the needs of these special groups.
