Abstract
The quasistatic characteristics of multiconductor coplanar waveguides are calculated using a simple and accurate finite difference method by taking the losses and metallization thickness of conductors into consideration. Its application in coplanar interdigitated bandpass filters on ceramic substrate is demonstrated. The comparison between calculated and measured scattering parameters up to 18 GHz shows a very good agreement.
