Abstract
The nonlinear coupling stiffness for a two degree of freedom micro-resonator is shown to have a strong effect on the micro-resonator output frequency and performance. By controlling the stiffness parameters. A smart controller design is proposed, based on artificial neural network and genetic techniques. A good performance is obtained. The genetic algorithm functions to optimize the magnitudes and sign of the neural network weights.
