Abstract
This paper presents results from an investigation into the position and relative magnitude (ambiguity to signal ratio, ASR) of azimuth ambiguities in broadside and squint look synthetic aperture sonar (SAS). The number of track positions for which signal returns are integrated is shown to have a direct influence on the ASR
