Abstract
A circuit-field combined method is described with reference to the steady-state characteristics evaluation of a single-phase shaded pole induction motor. Saturation of iron core, asymmetry of structure and heterogeneity of materials are taken into account. The circuit and potential equations, electromagnetic parameters and the manner of solution of the equations for sinusoidal approximation are determined. The calculated mechanical and electromechanical characteristics of the test motor were compared with measurements
