Abstract
The paper is devoted to robust sliding mode control for time delay systems with mismatched parametric uncertainty. A delay-independent sufficient condition for the existence of linear sliding surfaces is given in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI), based on which the corresponding reaching motion controller is also developed. The results are illustrated by an example.
