  • Abstract
    The test method of shielding effectiveness (SE) based on traditional definition was given and its shortages were analyzed. The measurement of SE using reverberation chamber based on statistical property was propounded. The simulation results indicated that sampling at the middle line can reflect the shielding property of enclosures effectively. A new testing system based on the statistic definition and multi-points data collection of SE using reverberation chamber has been successfully developed. The SE of a small enclosure was investigated. Meanwhile, the results of repeatability test on traditional definition and statistical definition of SE indicates that the test method of SE based on statistical property has better repeatability and rather for industry application.
